Missing Internet Explorer Maintenance option in GPMC

If you have recently upgraded to Internet Explorer 10 on your Windows 7 workstation or Windows Server 2008 R2 server, then you may be perplexed to note that the Internet Explorer Maintenance option in the Group Policy Management Console has gone missing! This is due to it becoming deprecated.

So you have 2 options, reset all of your settings in this area and recreate them within Group Policy Administrative Templates or Group Policy Preferences, or if you really fancy a challenge (no guarantees this is a stable way of doing it) then you may be able to re-establish the Internet Explorer Maintenance section by following details and comments in this blog post http://sdmsoftware.com/ie-policy/warning-installing-ie-10-on-your-windows-7-workstation-removes-ie-maintenance-policy-from-group-policy/
