May 28, 2013

After a lot of searching I was unable to find the registry keys to setup the Receiver to use Pass Through Authentication, but after messing with the ADM file provided with the Receiver I have extracted the below registry keys which will set it up for you.

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Citrix\ICA Client\Engine\Lockdown Profiles\All Regions\Lockdown\Logon\Local Credentials]

I have been looking for a way for the citrix receiver to not cache the user’s credentials when they close out of all of their apps. Would these registry settings help with that?

  2. Unfortunately not, this will force SSO but this sounds like you want to do the reverse

This worked awesome thank you! One issue I am having is that I can’t launch XenDesktop Published Desktops as I get the error: “Unable to launch as the application is not currently available” If I install via the EXE normally I can launch the XenDesktop desktop. Any idea what Added Reg keys I need to get that to work?

  4. Do you know of a way to get this to work with Windows 8.1? I have all of these settings in place for the desktop installed app 4.1.02 and SSON doesn’t work. Any ideas?
