How to Control App Closure Time in Windows 8.1

August 26, 2013

In case you aren’t aware, in Windows 8 you could drag a Modern UI app to the bottom of the screen and it would close completely.  In Windows 8.1 it closes from currently running, however the process is still in the task manager. You need to drag it to the bottom of the screen, hold it for a second and the window will flip around and then if you release the mouse button it closes fully.

However, the article below details how to change the period you need to wait for the window to do its flip.  Might be handy!
