What’s new in group policy in Windows 8.1

November 15, 2013

This is a really interesting article about what is new in Group Policy in the latest client operating system.

My personal favorites are asynchronous processing of GPP drive mappings and to a lesser extent group policy caching although that is less useful since moving drive mappings to asynchronized but still good.

Just watch the login script delay for all of you that haven’t migrated to using group policy preferences yet!
