How much traffic needs to pass between the SMB Client and Server before Multichannel starts?

SMB Multichannel is a fantastic new feature in SMB 3.0 which is part of Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012. Effectively it splits traffic down to utilise multiple NICs more effectively. However it isn’t used for very bit of network traffic, it is not used when there are greater than 8 packets (by default) so small file transfers will not use this technology. However you can change this setting, if you want to.
